Oct. 26th at 2pm $5 Admission “The Weir” by Conor McPherson ~ Director: John Trainor
“The Weir” is set in a rural Irish pub. It depicts the ordinary life of the locals, their magical stories and their encounter with a woman with a sorrowful tale to tell. It shows the pain of living along with the Irish love of fable and, as one reviewer puts it, “the Chekovian sense of waste”. While using humor, it shows the games people play to “hide the pain of living”.
The cast includes Diedre Bollinger, Doug MacDonald, Deborah Morris, Derek Ormond, Ted Phelps and Devin Trager.
